we took a minibus from the hotel in mendoza it took six and a half ours to reach the summit. We took a couple of breaks for drinks. The scenery was really spectacular so it kept us occupied during the trip. All the photos of the Andes were from this day, we stopped at good places to take photos. Two girls got off the bus before the final ascent as it was quite hair raising but was definately worth it for the views. It was quite chilly though which is strange as it was boiling hot at the bottom. James
