A panoramic view from the summit. Theres a really strong wind chill up there.

At the summit, the statue El Cristo which marks a peace treaty between Argentina and Chile - it just passed its 100 year anniversary last year, and apparently the whole thing was originally led up the mountain in pieces on horseback.

See the full sketchiness of the road! Its so narrow the bus had to drift sideways to make it round the hairpin corners.

Our minibus following another up a sketchy road.

Mat, Adri & James - the summit in the background is the Aconcagua, the highest mountain in the Americas standing at 6,962m. We are 40km away from it here so you can imagine just how immense it is.

We went on an excursion up the Andes - these mountains are just collossal, theres a pretty amazing atmosphere up here.

Another view of Villa Carlos Paz taken from a monorail that circled the same mountain as before.

Mat & James taking a dip downstream from the waterfalls.

Mat & Adri in front of the waterfalls - the water was freezing, you can see Ale & James in the back getting wet.

The seven waterfalls.

We took a trip to a place called siete cascadas (seven waterfalls) - the views were amazing but the place was a bit touristy, but we managed to find a quiet part to relax in.

Adri in front of Villa Carlos Paz - we had to get a chairlift up this mountain for this view.

This is Villa Carlos Paz, a city in Cordoba that we travelled to in January.

This is the view from the pier looking upstream, you can see the ferry just past the next pier. The water looks dirty but is actually really clean - its got a lot of sediment which gives it the brown colouration.

This is another house, owned by a Welsh family, typical of the style at El Tigre.

Javier, James and Fernanda relaxing on the pier.

Passing the night away with vino and cerveza at Gertys.

This ones for Leandro - remember this tree? It still smells!

James, Mat & friends playing volleyball in the river.

The scenery around El Tigre is amazing, this picture was taken on the path between the pier and Gertys house.

In December we visited El Tigre, a picturesque area south of Buenos Aires which comprises of a system of islands and rivers. We stayed at Gertys holiday home there - heres Adri standing next to it.
